Day 12 road 35 miles

Gave the legs a break! We road into Winthrop and had lunch and wandered around the old western style town. It was a warm day 100 and sunny! Road onto Twisp were we camped in the back lawn of a motel, and it had showers... Wahoo! Walked into town were all the stores were closed, it was Sunday! We did find one bar, with lots of racks (antlers) on the wall, and some old bullet holes, had an early dinner watched  some of the Olympics and used the free wifi! Back at the campsite we met a biking friend who left from Spokane and was headed to the coast, chatted with him for a bit, and then went to bed early so we could beat the heat for our climb the next day.
