Day 5 road 66 miles!

The previous day had been so warm so we decided to takeoff early and beat some of the heat! And that we did, a little too well (it was quite chilly:) the ride from Hoquiam to Lake Quinalt was great nice slow rolling hills, we had conquered 40 miles before noon! We had lunch at a place on the side of the road, and went to the convince store to pickup dinner... Not a lot of options. By the time we got back on the road the sun was out in full force. Sally got her first flat about 6 miles from the camp site. These last five days we had only seen bikers going the opposite direction, but today while Sally was fixing her flat we met 2 guys who were going the same direction! The campsite was subpar, it was on the beach, but way too crowded. So it was early to bed for us!

That's the bottom seem of my Mtn Hardwear tent that mom is putting her head through!, it just  fell apart!
