Day 17 road 77 miles and made it out of WA, into IDaho

We left the campsite and headed to Newport WA! The ride was perfect nice rolling hills along the river, through the Kalispel Indian Reservation. At one point we had 2 dogs growling and chasing us for about a 1/2 mile, we were all a little shocked at there persistence! We made it to Newport by 10:00 with 32 miles down we decided to ride a mile to Priest River to take a break and have lunch. Priest River was very small, but we found a cafe that served breakfast all day, so we all had 2nd breakfast! With full bellies we were off to Sandpoint Idaho. We arrived in Sandpoint by 2:30, part of the way we road on a bike path that lined the river, great way to end your ride :) We decided to use Warm Showers, and stayed with a host Paula a few miles east of Sandpoint! She lives in a beautiful neighborhood, we camped in her big back yard under apple and plum trees, it was perfect!
